How the BestSends Research Team reviews software

Every published review receives substantive editorial evaluation. Hands-on language is reserved for documented product use, and every page states its evidence status.

Testing is run by the BestSends Research Team.

    Evidence standards

    Three statuses, one editorial standard

    Hands-on reviewed

Carlos or the team used the product and documented the tested account, workflow, date, or original findings. Only these reviews show testing notes, test dates, and evidence-backed results.

    Editorially reviewed

A substantive evaluation using verified product information, official documentation, available demos or screenshots, current pricing, and Carlos Gil’s 15+ years of professional experience. It is not presented as hands-on testing.

    Research preview

Initial coverage that helps readers understand the product while deeper evaluation is still in progress. Preview pages state their limits and do not show testing modules or unsupported results.

A sponsorship or affiliate relationship never changes a review’s evidence status, score, ranking, or verdict. Read the detailed hands-on evidence protocol.

    Rating rubric

    Scored out of 10

The same five dimensions and the same point weighting apply to every platform, so scores are comparable head-to-head. On-page score bars show each dimension out of 10.

    Features

    3 / 10

Automation builder, forms and landing pages, segmentation, A/B testing, reporting, AI assistance, ecommerce and SMS where relevant.

    Ease of use

    2 / 10

Time to first send, onboarding friction, editor speed, and how much documentation you need to get a campaign out.

    Deliverability

    2 / 10

Inbox placement on our seed list across Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, iCloud and business domains, plus authentication support.

    Customer support

    1 / 10

Real tickets we open ourselves across email, chat and phone — measured on response time and whether the answer was correct.

    Value

    2 / 10

What the plan actually costs at 1,000, 10,000 and 50,000 subscribers versus what you get compared with the segment median.
